ERC recognizes the importance of implementing environmentally-friendly and sustainable workplace practices. We’re continually trying to decrease our footprint by using more efficient processes in the Workplace Center and within our office.
The result of these practices is often decreased expenses and a decreased footprint in the long-run. We encourage your organization to investigate how you can become more environmentally-friendly.
Renewable and Compostable
ERC’s coffee cups are made from renewable resources, making them 100% compostable. ERC’s biodegradable knives, forks and spoons are made from plant starch and break down in about 95 days.
The paper we use for our office and your materials comes from FSC-certified forests. And all of our paper is recycled through a local vendor.
How can your organization reduce its environmental footprint?
- Start using less paper. Send e-mails or use online collaboration tools more frequently. Instead of printing out an entire document or report, just print out the pages you need to review.
- Start a recycling program! Have separate bins in the office for recycling. Make sure you separate paper, bottles and cans, and take them to your local recycling facility.
